Policy &
Research Hub.
The intellectual engine of FLI Africa — producing the research, policy briefs, and analysis that drive real change in how Africa governs its fashion industry.
Where Scholarship Meets Action
We Don't Just Study Fashion Law. We Shape It.
The FLI Africa Policy & Research Hub is the institutional core of our research and advocacy work. It is where original scholarship becomes policy proposals, where data becomes legislative argument, and where legal expertise becomes the tool by which Africa's fashion industry is better protected and better governed.
The Hub publishes across multiple platforms — from the peer-reviewed Journal of African Fashion Law to accessible policy briefs designed for government officials and industry leaders. It convenes the Fashion Policy Assembly, hosts research fellowships, and maintains the Africa Fashion Policy Tracker — the continent's most comprehensive live database of fashion-relevant legislation and regulatory developments.
